Supplies for English I (2014-15)

Before coming to class, please write your full name on the ream you submit.

3. A 1 or 2 inch, three- ring binder

for storing and organizing writing, notes, and handouts

4. 4-5 Divider sheets with tabs

for marking sections of binder

5. 3 folders (each with 2 pockets and 3 “binder holes”)

two folders will be kept in the binder and one folder will be collected and used as a writing portfolio. Before coming to class, each student must write his/her full name, clearly in the UPPER RIGHT HAND CORNER of the portfolio folder. Please use permanent marker.

6. A supply of lined loose leaf paper or a 1-2 subject notebook with perforated, lined pages

for notes and other written work

7. A marble composition

for in-class “Write-Nows”
(“Write Nows” include journal entries and other warm-ups)

8. A blue pen, a black pen, and a red pen

for writing, note-taking, and annotating
*Do not purchase or use any other colors besides those listed.

9. 3X5indexcards(100 pack)

for studying vocabulary (Students do not need to bring these cards to class on a daily basis. Completed cards may be saved and used to study for the “Critical Reading” section of the SATs.)

10.Highlighters (5 different colors)

Students will be required to highlight 5 specific components of argument in their formal essays. Alternately, students may purchase and use colored pencils for their highlighting.

11.A planner for recording homework and upcoming assignments.

The school will provide you with a planner. Should you decide not to use the planner provided by the school, you will be expected to purchase or obtain one on your own.

12.A mini stapler

Supplies for BIOLOGY (Ms Puff, rm 216)
  1. Pen/Pencil
  2. Large 3-Ring Binder with loose leaf paper
  3. Folder: for handouts, worksheets, etc.
  4. 1 ream of copy paper

 

Supplies for PHYS-ED (Mr. Corabi)

Order forms for gym clothes will be available at freshman orientation day.

 

Supplies for MEDIA ARTS (Mr. Mazza, rm 103)

All students MUST have and keep in backpack/school bag at all times:
1. SD Memory card (minimum 8Gb)
2. Earphones or earbuds
